About Salt Creek ...

Salt Creek is a real place. Located in the Lower Suwannee Refuge, it is reminiscent of the old Florida in which we both grew up.

Clocks, phones and newscasts seem less important there. It’s a place that is close to nature.

Woods, wildflowers, marsh and swamp are all in close proximity. Birds, reptiles and fish are as abundant here as any place we can remember, and a ride or hike through the woods is still a day’s adventure.

  This is where we go to relax and feel closer to creation and our Creator.
